The objectives of the Council shall be as follows:-
(A) Conducting high-level studies and research related to agriculture.

(B) Investigative study of necessary technology, knowledge and skills by finding ways to solve problems in the agricultural sector to increase agricultural production or quality.
(c) Providing necessary support to the Government of Nepal for the formulation of the National Agricultural Policy.
